Husker Ladies have cut a 19 point Iowa lead to 14 Points to end the Quarter.

Everyone obsesses over Clark (understandably so), but Kate Martin is such a heady, all around talent on the floor. Would love to have had Martin on our team the past 4 years.

Amy Williams is making some really dumb coaching decisions. Play someone 37 straight minutes for really no reason and they get hurt in the final two minutes of a blowout. Smh.

Jaz went through the post game lines.  I think she was moving OK.  Hard to tell from the camera angle.

“For really no reason”? I mean, it may not have been Jaz’s best game, but she had 19 pts, 4 rebounds and 5 assists. I’d say she contributed to the Husker cause today.

I wonder if everyone was healthy?  Potts and Moriarty didn't get a ton of minutes.  Stewart hardly played.

 Who couldn’t “contribute” those numbers in 37 minutes? Taking 17 shots? And she had 4 turnovers? I’m sorry but Shelley is overrated. She didn’t stop anyone on defense. Hake was shooting well too, and White had almost as many assists and rebounds in 1/3 of the minutes Jaz had. With all the hype she gets she should be doing a lot more. I know it’s my opinion, but I’m just thinking logically at this point. What we are doing isn’t working, but we just keep doing it.

15 minutes for Potts does not seem like enough. By with the rotations Amy uses it is hard to tell if someone is under the weather.

People aren’t getting a chance to get going. Moriarity, Potts and White were instrumental in beating Michigan. They have played fewer minutes since. It makes no sense.

Potts shoots around 70% inside the paint.  Why are we wasting her talent going 1 for 5 at the three point line?  I think that's the better question.

  I detest our mentality that the 3 point line is the only thing that matters.

We try to throw in from too far out.  If we don't have some serious mustard on the pass we have to close the gap.  That's why dribble penetration matters.

I don't know if it makes any difference, but Iowa has Six players with over 20 minutes (would have been more if they hadn't put their subs in in Q4);  we had Three players with 20 mins or more.
