PLOT TWIST: During the jersey retirement ceremony, Jordan Hooper announces that she still has one year of eligibility remaining, will rejoin Husker WBB immediately.😁

But wishful thinking aside, if you all had to pick one Husker women’s basketball player from the last 10 years who you could bring back for this season, which past player do you think could help this year’s team the most?

I would select Rachel Theriot to come in and play point guard. I miss watching her. She had a great all around game. Fantastic passing and court vision.

Hoosiers by 13 @ the Half; 29-42 :Timeout:

Shooting %'s tell the story. Indiana's length is impacting our shooting (a lot of misses) Indiana hs us scouted well. Points in the Paint is surprising; 20-10 Huskers! :Shout:

Not able to watch this game live. Will watch later on DVR. How is the battle inside between Alexis and Mackenzie Holmes playing out

There really hasn't been one to speak of. Mackenzie isn't usually guarding Alexis.... looks purposeful...maybe Indy is concerned MacK will get in foul issues ??.....and may be concerned Alexis will defend Mack well.

Indy is shooting the lights out. Their offense moves the ball really well, and operates fast in the half court.  Drives to the basket.

We aren't keeping up and guarding against their shots. Conversely their defense is defending our shots pretty well.

Lots of game left. I too can't think they can't keep shooting so well....but we have to defend better. It's not over, we can certainly play better in the 2nd half.

Stats favor AM.  But, as mentioned, they are not squaring up on defense.  Officials are calling 'traveling' closely. It has resulted in turnovers from each.

And now AM has 4 fouls to start the half.

Holmes and Markowski squared up this half.  Bang, bang, Alexis is sitting for awhile.  At least Stewart hit a '3'.  Maybe that will loosen their defense a bit.  Indiana, 12 - 1, looks good.  Best in the B1G?

She's kind of trying to do it all by herself. Not much help on defense...or rebounding. Indiana is good in all phases....coaching too. They have players that  fit their system.

Rumor has it that Britt Prince strongly considered joining that IU system. I’m really glad she didn’t, obviously….but in today’s fickle transfer climate, can you ever really relax and feel confident that a great recruit will stay for 4 years?

Hoosiers by 20 pts at the end of Q3: 49-69! :Timeout:

Stats at the end of 3 Qtrs of Play: Indiana is scoring at will. Points in the Paint now 28-24 favor Hoosiers.
