I was skeptical that he was a P5 player until I watched the highlights from his (small school) team's win over Tulsa Memorial (large school) in the Tournament of Champions championship game. He is both skilled and athletic. And, on top of that, he has that dawg mentality. He shoots really well off the dribble. Best thing for us is he watched Keisei scoring on the same kinds of action that he scored on in the championship game. He would clearly be able to visualize himself doing that on our floor.

Also, if I'm not mistaken, he stopped off in Hampton, NE, home of the Hampton Hawks, on his way to Lincoln to watch our game. Is there a Husker connection there somewhere, @cipsucks?

Huge fan of his game though. Good PG that can do a variety of things on the court. He would fit into what Fred wants from a PG from what I can see

Appears that they were invited to the gym by the Hampton Hawks head coach.

 

If you recall, it was one year ago that their coach Kyle Ediger died in a wreck coming back from a game, really such a tragic event in York, NE. The young basketball coach and teacher was 32.

Seems like they stopped in Hampton because of the guy that Forsythe trains with, Nate Logan

I was a fan of this kid, but looks like he ended up at OU. Never extended an offer from our end.
