Brutal officiating, possibly the worst I've ever seen.

Agree.  But, not sure we got the short end of the stick.  They seemed to stink it up, across the board.  Where do these B1G officials come from?  On-line license?  ☹️

may have been the best defensive effort this season. if not, in the top 2-3.

psu can definitely hassle you, though. very athletic---quick to the ball.

surprised melissa mckenna didn't try to create more---but, yes huskers played good defense on her. i thought there was some opportunities for her.

callin hake has been a pleasant surprise. hope she continues to grow. i feel comfortable with the ball in her hands. nice post-game with her and krull.

if i do have a negative......it's the passing of annie stewart. always get a bit nervous when she has the ball in her hands. hope they can work on that.

congratulations to izzie 1000+ career pts.....and, congrats to coach williams for #300!!!

i did read an article that stated izzie will not be back. i hope the columnist got the info wrong.....time will tell.

really, really hoping jaz returns.......just afraid she is gonna have some nice $$$ thrown at her though.

The male broadcaster on BTN+ said Allison had surgery a couple of days ago.

Also saw this on another site - "Allison Weidner’s ACL surgery went very well on Tuesday. She was up and moving at Nebraska’s shoot around on Wednesday."

Don't know the medical details, and each person is probably somewhat different, but for her to be walking around in a few days would seem kind of unusual. My nephew had ACL surgery, and was on crutches for over two weeks. And even then wasn't supposed to walk much at all, for the first couple of weeks after crutches, then progressed to more walking, etc etc.

Nowadays, everyone is made to get up real soon after various surgeries, so she must be on that sort of track. She's young, so healing should be fairly rapid.

Regardless of all that.... hope she heals permanently, and can join the team as soon as it works for her. And most of all she is OK from now on.

Two of my son's had one of their knees scoped and repaired (not the same as an ACL tear of course), but healed up successfully and haven't had any effects years since.

But as a parent you really worry when it happens.

Not sure "up and moving" translates to walking around.  I don't know, but my guess, crutches were involved.

yes.........but, the acl procedures in this era is unbelievable. as a viking fan (from sunday's playoff game), look at the running back Barkley from the Giants. never know he had surgery. another example, the point guard from SDSU. she had surgery last winter and is playing now for SDSU. she is looking very, very good. if you are dedicated post surgery rehab.........you are practically good as new.

There is a physical and a psychological component to the injury, surgery and recovery.   Often, the surgical component is the easiest (with work) to recover from.  The hardest is the psychological portion.

We shall see.

i am wondering if it's so much a psychological issue anymore. i agree it was a huge issue in coming back a number of years ago. i just think now it's a strength and stamina issue. i guess what i am saying is if your an athlete and are set on coming back, the psychological part is diminishing.
