redsteve Posted November 18, 2022 Report Posted November 18, 2022 Better be ready. This is going to be a test. Might go down to the wire. Drake's a good team. One (Meyer), played at Iowa, before transfering. They play their starting 5 most of the game. Have some height. Guards are good. (One is a scorer ....(Dennebier) sp Focus and aggressiveness in big demand. And defense of course. Won't be Big East officials, so hopefully no influence by calls. 12dozen 1 Quote
KarlHessEatMy.... Posted November 19, 2022 Report Posted November 19, 2022 What is with these damn games not being on normal video stuff Quote
KarlHessEatMy.... Posted November 19, 2022 Report Posted November 19, 2022 Also I just seen a tik tok with Sam suited up. No way she back already right? Quote

hskr4life Posted November 19, 2022 Report Posted November 19, 2022 Just look like we're struggling... pressing... a little bit. We just need to relax and play. Quote
Red Don Posted November 19, 2022 Report Posted November 19, 2022 Big Comeback!!! 10-0 Run Huskers w/4:44 left in the Half. 22-24 Weidner just tied @ 24 - 24!! Quote
Red Don Posted November 19, 2022 Report Posted November 19, 2022 Halftime Stats: Huskers were down by 12 pts, then went on a 10-0 run, Weidner tied at 24 all with a bucket. Drake answers with a run of their own, going up by 12 points, and end the half leading 38-26. 12dozen 1 Quote
redsteve Posted November 19, 2022 Report Posted November 19, 2022 Did Bourne get hurt or something. Stats show she hasn't played much. Sorry, but sound only leaves a ton to be desired. Red Don and 12dozen 2 Quote
12dozen Posted November 19, 2022 Author Report Posted November 19, 2022 I too wonder about Izzie. Only 7 minutes. Jazz seems to be struggling, offense and defense. Time for a 2nd half turnaround. Quote
KarlHessEatMy.... Posted November 19, 2022 Report Posted November 19, 2022 May be a long year against decent teams. We just don't play defense at all. Hopefully Markowski and Weidner get it going after a few more games cuz I am seeing a sophomore slump about to happen Quote
Red Don Posted November 19, 2022 Report Posted November 19, 2022 Drake up by 15 at the end of 3 Qtrs of Play: Quote
KarlHessEatMy.... Posted November 19, 2022 Report Posted November 19, 2022 (edited) Don't even need to finish watching Typical Amy Williams team Don't play defense ever Conditioning still sucks ALWAYS!! I have never seen such a thing. Our girls can't even keep feet under them. Drake looks like they been walking the whole game Other notes Let's hope Maggie and Sam make a difference Can Jazz get her shot back I would of never guessed our transfers would of been that big of a miss I still sadly don't think Amy will ever be able to recruit to make Nebraska a contender and will always be middle of the pack but better than last like the guys Edited November 19, 2022 by KarlHessEatMy.... Red Don Posted November 19, 2022 Report Posted November 19, 2022 (edited) Husker Ladies lose by 18. 62-80! Hard to win when you're shooting 31% FG & 21% from three when your opponent is shooting 55 & 43. Edited November 19, 2022 by Red Don redsteve and 12dozen 1 1 Quote

Well coached teams, do seem to expose our defensive deficiencies. Nothing new. If we can find our shooting touch, we should be competitive. Middle of the conference pack? Not sure how much help Sam and MM will be. Sam usually plays better as the season goes along. Shortened season won't help. And Maggie? The young lady could be participating in her senior year of high school. Heck of a jump, to B1G competition. Regardless, fingers crossed. Quote
Redhac Posted November 20, 2022 Report Posted November 20, 2022 Last year NE won 89-68 with Haiby with 15, Scoggin with 16, and Cravens with 2. Need more and etter offense and defense. Red Don 1 Quote

Hope it was just one bad game. But to your point, better offense and defense would have won this game. Hoping this was just one bad outing. Red Don and redsteve 1 1 Quote
caveman Posted November 20, 2022 Report Posted November 20, 2022 Shelley, Weidner, Markowski, Krull and Bourne, are far too talented to be this bad. Red Don and Tom Jones 1 1 Quote

Cazzie22 Posted November 20, 2022 Report Posted November 20, 2022 I was freezing in the stands of the football game and heard very little of the game and when we were down 17 in 2nd half I quit listening. It’s apparent that we miss Sam and Cravens and even Ruby Porter could provide a spark on occasion. Brady is a non factor and Krull hasn’t been very productive. Bourne, Markowski and Jaz need to step up their game. Quote

I appreciate loyalty, and having players backs, but this doesn't come off as sound roster management. Not much bang for the buck. Cazzie22 1 Quote
