Purdue game should be closer than Sunday (Hopefully). That is all I got except number 30 for Purdue is a Lincoln HS grad.

12-11 Huskers at First Quarter Media TO.  Bourne has 8 and we seem to be able to rebound on defense.  Sam has missed several shots but so far we are hanging in the game.

23-20 Purdue at quarter.  Scoggin with a couple of threes.  Purdue isn’t Indiana.  Maybe we can hang with them if we can defend better.

I had to quit watching.  Kate Cain is driving me nuts. 4 year starter. 0 rebounds first qtr. No defense.  No hustle. And a captain.  Lack of effort is pathetic.

Bourne and Haiby try to do too much.  Kate is getting the ball but isn’t very productive.  Cravens hasn’t been on the floor lately.

They are our two most productive players. We have become very very thin.

41-34 Purdue, down 11 but Kate hit a couple of elbow shots to get it back to 7.  If the energy can hold up we might hang with them.  McLaughlin returning gave Purdue a big boost in the 2nd.

Halftime Stats: Husker Ladies shooting % is falling off, Purdue it getting better!!!

I suspect, the game plan for the first half was, pace yourself, keep the score close, and avoid foul trouble.  Mission accomplished.  We might see a more 

aggressive team in the 2nd half.

Agree.  Dressing only 7 players is a huge disadvantage.
