Do not have a combined total for free throw attempts in the Sports Center, however Nebraska attempted 59 free throws against Texas in 1996.

 

Oklahoma State had 52 free throw attempts in 1990.

Hey got the W!!!  We looked like a team that should of won that game.  We were for the most part, in control after we took the lead following Penn States runs.  12-12... hey this late into the season, seeing us at .500 is very neat.  I did not know if we would make it there before the season, but thought there was a chance after the first few games.  Do not know if we will ever see.500 again this year or not, but credit the boys for achieving that this late into the year.

 

Now part of me wants to believe that there is still an outside shot at the NIT.  if we can stay at the .500 mark until the end of the year, there is a shot.  To do that, we have to go 4-3 from here on out.  That will be a tough feat, but not impossible.  Iowa twice, Wisconsin, Michigan State I could see us winning.  Michigan State because it is at home, Iowa is beatable, and the type of ball Wisconsin and us play, it will be ugly, but close, so we may sneak a win there.  Otherwise we have Indiana, Minnesota, and Illinois.  Who knows, maybe I am overthinking, but maybe, just maybe, we get some good fortune..... anyways good win, back at .500, about a 99 percent chance we finish above where we were predicted.  Nice job boys and keep fighting.
