The B1G is considering Omaha as a possible site for the mens tourament.

"Willing to consider..."? If a venue is a recurring regional site for the NCAA tournament, then it's worthy of consideration for a conference tournament.

 

Sure, look at accessibility for fans to attend. But that's not even a question when attendance has been so poor in their D.C. and NYC experiments.

Look Big 10... we get 10K+ for a high school state basketball tournament.  You'd have no trouble putting butts in the seats.  The only thing they should be worried about is an invasion of red.

Back in the day, the Big 12 also had to consider Lincoln hosting the Conference Championship football game.  Bill Byrne was genius in submitting it.  No way in Austin it was gonna happen...
