There’s still one dude that has us in his bracket over at bracket matrix, and it was updated today. Has us as an 11 seed.

it's kinda like trying to hang your hat on a single molecule...:)

but hey, there's a chance!

Last year Erik Haslem (of Haslemetrics) rode Nebrasketball's banner high. I doubt he is now.... I haven't had the heart to even pain myself further by hoping & dreaming this time 'round. Selection Sunday a year ago was a brutal, cruel pill to take.

6th team out as of this morning.  So maybe fate swings the other way!  ?

For real..... whoa. That's wild. Can you even imagine a date in Dayton?! Oh, how I dare to compare. A fate I'd rate. A date. Don't be late.

?

But I can not. The pain still burns. It's too much. I can't bear it.

A last look at the regular season and BIG Tourney.

Final Nitty Gritty sheet below.

A look at this shows how close we were to making it into the tournament, yet so far away.

These losses loomed large: Maryland(A), Purdue(H), Rutgers(A), Illinois(A), MSU(H). Beat Rutgers and Illinios and 1 of the remaining 3 and we are a bubble team.

Bad luck of having arguably our best player, Isaac Copeland, getting hurt was just horrible luck.

Compare NET Team Sheet to the RPI Team Sheet. There's a significant difference.

Another what if season for Nebraska.

Am I dreaming or was Copeland hurt during the Ohio State game?

No sir you are not dreaming. My mistake. I'm going to fix the post so that I can avoid a dozen responses stating the same thing you did.
