This was a must win game and we are crapping the bed big time.  Now, we face an uphill climb if we can't win this game.  We have Derek, who has pitched better the last two times out, but has been inconsistent, and Meyers, who has an injured hand.  That doesn't bode well for us.

I swear,  sometimes they just flip a coin in the dugout.  Why do you bring in Hood in the 9th?  He walked the leadoff guy and you bring in Luensmann.

Well that  sucked.  Michigan State played like Erstsd says he wants to play.  Can run, put pressure on the defense.  Alvarado is so lost right now it hurts too watch.  Smart that he is switching to pitching.

Anytime an Erstad team faces pressure, they choke.  The regionals have been that way, and now you control your own destiny, and you play like dog turds.

To me it isn't choking.  We're just not that good.   Can't recruit.  If anything they scratch and scrape with mediocre talent.  Not many scary bats in that lineup

Raburn hitting 2 hole and Acker starting are hard to overcome. Not what got us here. I understand the coaches hands were tied on this though.

Nebraska dropped from 1st to 3rd after yesterday. The top 5 teams are all bunched up between 15-7 for 1st place to 12-7 for a two-way tie for 4th place.

Bad throw by Roskam and Burk could have doubled off the runner at second. "So he couldn't make the play?" - So we're down 1-0. Shit like that costs you ballgames.
