Some 1st Half Notes I took.

- Nice to see Glynn Watson hitting an early 3, shot looks good from outside

- Jordy Tshimanga looks a little slow and unsure right now. Showed good footwork in the post however on a spin move on the baseline.

- Bad transition defense to start.

- Rotation 9 deep

- Jacobsen is bigger and stronger good finish at rim against smaller opponent

- Wow! Pull up 3 from Watson, he is going to be special

- Transition defense has been bad.

- Nice finish by Tai, Huskers up 27-22

- Jordy got blocked twice in one sequence

- McVeigh has a nose for the ball, good offensive rebounder

- Glynn can do it all, still want to see how he can finish in the lane, showed a nice floater there. 31-29 Huskers.

- Glynn really the only bright spot in 1st half, 17 of 36 Husker points.

- Expected more from Anton Gill, has been non-existent

- Terrible execution to end 1st half

Gill and Webster really were no shows in that half.

Watson certainly practiced finishing through contact in the offseason. Morrow looking more confident offensively.  Jack looking like he can be our 3-point sniper.

Quite a few guys not bringing their A-game tonight: Jordy, Horne, Roby, Michael.  But each of them showing some flashes of impressive skillsets and/or improvement.  The only guy who I'm  having to lower expectations for is Gill.  Really thought he could make a Petteway-type impact as a first year transfer, and instead he looks like a guy who may not even see the floor once we tighten up the rotation.

Hard to say Horne didn't bring an A game, not a lot of minutes.  Liked his help defense and made a nice jumper. Roby looked tight but showed flashes that there is talent.  Jordy was swimming a bit.  Jacobsen did score but played well down low on defense.  Gill was my only non-A gamer
