Due to an extremely limited discussion happening on our WBB team to get a discussion going I am predicting the following starting lineup for the game 3 weeks from today.  Emily Wood, Jasmine Cincore, Maddie Simon, Allie Havers and Jess Shephard.   A lot of others will play.  What do you think.

Yes HUD, seems pretty logical with their NU game experience those listed will start.  Maybe Esther at guard could start too. She is quick and Coach Amy likes speed and quickness !

Wouldn't be completely surprised to see a rookie start, with the experienced group leading the way.

And also agree lots will probably play. Hopefully we'll have a couple of games, exhibition or not.....all will get in.

Have just as much interest on the teams schemes...tendencies and the like.

Expect Jess to be let loose to score. Jess and Allie together could well be spectacular.

I just think it will be hard to keep Maddie out of the starting lineup.  I think she is one of the hardest working players, very athletic and has a tremendous will to succeed.  I agree that everyone will get plenty of opportunities and hopefully several will rise to the top as starters or get a lot of minutes off the bench.  Competition will be good but with only 11 players eligible we need to stay healthy.

Heard from a pretty good source that the coaches are liking what they're seeing out of both Hannah Whitish and Darrian Washington!

Boy, is that good to hear!  Certainly will be good to see how they do then and in what roles starting out.  Along with the rest, of course.

I should also add that the same source told me that freshman Grace Mitchell has slid over out of her normall position to the four to make up for the loss of Rachel B and has tackled that change of position with vigor and with a very positive attitude!

Also said the coaches look out who's on the court when they're not practicing but can hear balls bouncing on the practice court, A lot of the time it's Emily Wood or Grace Mitchell!

Must be something about those Kansas kids!

I love Darrian!  She's a warrior and, from what I understand, a very fun, hard-working person.

From what I've heard about Grace, this doesn't surprise me.

This is all good to hear, Chuck.  Being out-of-state this board is my only source of good information on what's happening in the WBB program.  Things like: " I am repeatedly hearing how much fun these women are having with Coach Williams;"  Your updates on Darrien, the newcomers Grace, Nicea, Hannah (and all the others) are music to our ears.

"It should be a really fun ride this season," Indeed!  :)

Steve, i just posted the WBB season schedule with TV /Video Streaming availability.  It looks like the exhibition game is available  with audio only.  Several games seem to have audio only (It's hard to believe the first game of the Preseason WNIT, the two games in the South Point Shootout and the ACC/B1G Challenge game @ Clemson are audio only, but that is what the schedule shows.)  I'll try to update the TV schedule if there are any additions/changes.

Like last year, most of the WBB games (16 or so) are shown via video streaming from BTN Plus, that requires a subscription, with only a few select games (7 or 8) shown on Broadcast TV.

If you want to watch the WBB streamed-only games, I believe a subscription is worth it, at about $10/month (for the Nebraska only package) for 4 months (Nov thru Febr.).

I've had a BTN Plus subscription for the past two years and outside of the sometimes lower quality of announcers it has worked well.  It costs $80 per year for just N/U games and I have watched Volleyball there too.  I found it necessary due to the lack of games covered by BTN.
