Jordy Tshimanga - Freshman Play Poll

This poll is derived from some of the recent discussion in the recruiting forum's Jordy thread.  It seems as though 20 mpg is an agreeable threshold for this metric.  Let's be democratic and vote our predictions!

Well, OK, I'll go ahead and explain my vote and see if anyone else wants to share their different take.

 

I took the unders on everything.  Experience counts for something; I don't think it'll be quite as easy for Jordy to unseat Jacobson as it was for Jacobson to unseat Hammond -- for obvious reasons; and while I'm optimistic about Jordy's abilities, I also think there are a lot of good players who will command minutes that could affect how many are available at any single position.

Glynn Watson is the only freshman last year who averaged over 20mpg overall. MJ for the season was under 20, but did average 21 during conference play.

I'd highly doubt you see JT over 20. Especially at 270lbs. Probably would have been better setting your number in the 12-15m range.

Watching Jordy's cureent film there is no way he plays 15 minutes a game, much less over 20. He will be good but needs quite a bit of work, big and tall or not. I hope I am wrong but will be surprised if I am.
