We got ourselves a personality on the team.  Reminds me of Barkley when he talks, or maybe even Big Easy from the Globetrotter.

Listening to him got me pretty pumped up, he has a lot of confidence too!

Sorry don't think the podcast is up yet guys

Solid piece here on Jordy.

I'm liking the sound of this kid (especially the Shakespeare part); I just hope his credits transfer.

I hope he checks the right TOEFL boxes

That would be a good start.

KNTK - Drop the Mike:  Nebrasketball lands big man Jordy Tshimanga. Is he the real deal?

-Why did Nebraska get Tshimanga over his other offers?

-Is this the perfect fit for Nebrasketball?

-Also, News of the day: Roughned Odor rocks Jose Bautista, is this now the gold standard for baseball fights?

-Also, robber gets beat down by a dude who looks like Harry Potter. Should this robber retire?

I haven't seen a whole lot of pictures of Jordy, but even I can tell right away there there is a pretty significant difference between him and Jake Hammond.

That's Maric-esque, innit?

It's we don't need to beg the staff to make sure he's eating enough steak at the training table-esque!

Also Maric was 265# and 6'11" as a freshman

Jordy was over 300# in high school and has completely transformed his body.

He could be 265# if he wants to be.  I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see him in the 245# range by the opening tip of the first game.

I thought he was much lighter than the 270# that Robin Washut says he's listed at.  I don't see him listed on the Nebraska roster yet, though.

Edited:  I see it now.  It's on the news release, not the roster itself.  Again, I thought Jordy had dropped a ton of weight, down to the 230 range (see ESPN profile) and that he'd have to add weight to get back up to play at 265 or 270.  But now Rivals is showing him at 270 as is 2/47.  They must have updated after our press release because I don't think that's what they had him at before.
