  1. I think I could agree with you there. That OSU game showed we could win against tough competition and got the monkey off our back for that season.
  2. I would say when Petteway and company took them by 9 in Easy Lansing, MSU had a better squad. That was one of my all-time favorite games. Pitch, TP, and Shields, plus Leslee were all huge that game! While we were good, that squad was less talented than this year's. They maybe had more reliable depth, but that's about it. That game also started our run to the Dance if I'm not mistaken.
  3. Penn State on the verge of pulling the upset. And Creighton about to lose again ?
  4. What a great win! One of the best parts is we beat the zebras also! They were awful. I can't believe the man crush the stripes had for him. Phantom calls on Roby, Palmer, and Cope! Even though the game was over, that out of bounds call on Roby was AWFUL. Surprise, surprise, the call favors Romeo. Also, Cope's 4th with 4:30 to go was trash as well. But enough complaining, what a hell of an effort! Such a fun game (and team) to watch. Let's keep it going. Thursday just became that much bigger!!
  5. I'm guessing it's the bleachers, but for whatever reason, when I watch games on TV, Assembly Hall sort of reminds me of the BOB!
  6. I'm beginning to think KearneyMan means CreightonDormitoryBoy...
  7. I think one could make the argument that last year's team is just as good as this year's team. It's just too bad that our conference got no respect.
  8. Upvote +100. Spot on. Win those two, and today isn't so bad.
  9. Our 3 point D has been shitty as of late.
  10. Losing every 50/50 ball isn't helping either. That loose ball foul on Nana was pretty telling of our mentality so far.
  11. At Minnesota, we held a 13 point 2nd half lead (9 or so with around 6 or 7 to play), and we had a great chance to extend an 8 point 2nd half lead tonight to double figures. I think he's pointing out that we squandered a great opportunity to start 3-0. And if Loyola can go to the Final Four, hell, we should be able to at least dream about being a top 10 team, and we possibly would be had we closed our two conference road games.
  12. However, we need Q1 wins, which we lacked last season. We have lots Q1 opportunities, yes, but we have to start winning them. We didn't last year and didn't Dance.
  13. It's basically been said, but we cannot keep doing this. Maryland is good, and so is Minnesota. But we had chances to put both of them away on the road. This is possibly our best team ever, and we've given away 2 very winnable games that would've also been quality wins. I have lots of words I could say, but I'm gonna stay PG. Palmer's pullup under 1 minute might've sealed the deal, but I knew it not going in was gonna seal our fate. I'm in the camp that we better go undefeated at home or we may be in trouble. On a side note, would someone with a referee background explain why Fernando was allowed to switch pivot feet after turning on one, then jumping off the other. Thanks!
  14. I really hope he starts shooting the 3 ball better. His dribble drive will be off the charts if 5's have to challenge him hard on the perimeter!
  15. That is unbelievable but (sadly) believable at the same time. Let's make this ranked thing a more common occurrence!!
  16. I know he's small, but I think he gets an NBA Summer League roster spot and makes a run at the League.
  17. One thing Tanner does really well is seal his man when our guys drive for layups. Kansas used to always do that to us, and I always screamed for an offensive foul to be called to no avail. Nice that we have a guy doing that now!
  18. Although it was in mop-up duty, that reverse layup Heiman had Sunday night reminded me of something Ethan Happ would do. I think we would all take Happ-like production down the road (without the Wisconsin stink obviously).
  19. I can't stand Duke! Good effort by TT.
  20. I play NBA 2K pretty much to do this. I will throw some of mine up at some point.
  21. I'm just sharing what my relative, who is a fairly high figure at the Med Center, shared with me. Didn't say you have to believe it. Mine had nothing to do with tampering or coaching searches.
  22. I do not, but I'll have to venture over and see what they have to say. I love what Moos has done for FB, but can't say I'm pleased with how he has handled Miles. We'll see how things shake out.
  23. This chart alone should be proof that Miles is our guy and should be for years to come. Until he was hired, we hadn't been top 25 since 1995! It also proves how difficult it has been, for whatever reason, to sustain success at Nebraska.
  24. I had to take a peek at BJU. My God, the number of excuses they make is entertaining, as well as their constant rhetoric of them being "smart" bball fans and us being the "dumb" ones. Last night was so great! Hope we can keep it up!
