The guys played with tremendous heart just like in Chicago. Roby was phenomenal in the 1st half, then JPJ, GW3, and JT finished things up in the 2nd. This staff has put together a great last 2 weeks. Sad to think it probably won't be enough. Anyways, what a great game by all involved, including the fans! Crazy to think that if the rumors about Coach Miles are true, in a way, Moos would be going back on his word about wanting to see consistency from our program, specifically Coach Miles. Our win-loss isn't as good as last year, but we got a higher seeded NIT spot and won a game already. It's also easy to argue that EVEN before our abundant amount of injuries and Jordy transferring that last year's roster was better. So could the argument be made that we have done about as good, if not as good, as last year, which should be a reason to keep Miles?

Yes he missed the make-up game...against BETHUNE-COOKMAN...for his daughter's wedding. Of course he would miss that game, that is obviously expected with a wedding and all. I'm guessing he doesn't miss a glorified scrimmage at Cal if our FB team was playing Wisconsin. Family time could've come Friday evening Saturday evening, all day Sunday, etc.

For those saying it's no big deal he wasn't there, how many FB games did he miss? The rescheduled one (family wedding) is the main one I know about. Let's just say I guarantee he doesn't miss a bowl game or conference football championship game. From a public standpoint, his support of bball compared to football looks like complete shit.

I plan on watching replays of the Iowa, Rutgers, and Maryland many times until next season. The grit, heart, emotion, etc that the guys played with reminded me of 2014. I can't say enough of our guys. Just a shot here or there, a block called instead of a charge, and we're playing MSU and probably a lock already for the play-in games.

One thing that never gets discussed is the quality of the experience that scout team guys like Trueblood get. Think about it, he is going against guys like Palmer and Watson regularly. The bright lights of the Big Ten Tournament probably aren't too bright for him!

Our last 3 wins are all part of a revenge tour...Iowa, Rutgers, Maryland. Let's make it 4 with the Badgers!

If we somehow beat Maryland and Wisconsin, depending on other bubble teams and conference tourney upsets, I could see us at least having reason to watch Selection Sunday. We really need Palmer, Watson, and Roby clicking on all cylinders these next 2 days.

If this has been discussed somewhere, I apologize. Towards the beginning of the pregame the yesterday, Kent and Jake were running down a review of all the events that have taken place since last season and how they had an effect on the team and its downward spiral. They mentioned not getting selected to the dance, then getting screwed with the NIT. They also brought up Jordy. But the most interesting part was they said something to the effect of a recruit who never got to campus that should've been a part of the team. My first thought was Xavier. But then they discussed the Xavier and Kenya Hunter situation afterwards. Am I totally missing something? Does anyone know if this is connected to KP's tweet a couple weeks back regarding if people only knew what was all going on behind the scenes?

Are you saying that Miles alluded to Hoiberg getting the job if he is fired or was it Goodman who said it? I haven't listened to the podcast.
