  1. For those who haven't seen it (for this thread)...
  2. Maybe this is closer to rock bottom than performance on the court...
  3. Nothing new from the information on this board, but: https://omaha.com/sports/huskers/womens-basketball/nebraska-womens-basketball-suspends-assistant-chuck-love-removes-ashley-scoggin-from-roster/article_2f11ced4-91a1-11ec-a2d0-4f2ece7d2c31.html
  4. Is this a copy/paste from the last 3 offseasons of Fred?
  5. If you really want to get in the weeds, the total margin in conference gets a big murky. It will obviously skew worse since there's far fewer wins, but here we go. Conference Margin: 2021-2022: -13.7 2020-2021: -10.2 2019-2020: -11.3 2018-2019: -5.8 2017-2018: +3.9 2016-2017: -5.8 2015-2016: -0.7 2014-2015: -6.8 2013-2014: +0.2 2012-2013: -9.1
  6. We're obviously dealing with some very low sample size for Hoiberg, so it won't be the best representation. But here it is. Conference Winning Margin: 2021-2022: 13.0* (1 win) 2020-2021: 8.7* (3 wins) 2019-2020: 10.0* (2 wins) 2018-2019: 8.0 2017-2018: 9.5 2016-2017: 4.8 2015-2016: 18.5 2014-2015: 9.4 2013-2014: 8.6 2012-2013: 7.8
  7. (There's literally no reason why I'm just comparing Hoiberg with the coach right before him other than I pulled in the most recent seasons to benchmark and I'm too lazy today to go back further...) Conference Losing Margin: 2021-2022: 15.6 2020-2021: 13.7 2019-2020: 13.7 2018-2019: 11.7 2017-2018: 10.8 2016-2017: 11.2 2015-2016: 10.3 2014-2015: 13.0 2013-2014: 13.1 2012-2013: 15.5 Something to keep in mind, this is for a losing margin; the best you can do to lower the average is "-1". So a swing of +2pts (13.7 avg to 15.6 avg is pretty massive).
  8. Our conference losing margin under Hoiberg is as follows: 2021-2022: 15.6 2020-2021: 13.7 2019-2020: 13.7
  9. I'll wait for the USA Today article to never come out...
  10. There was even a time where the guy dribbled around the perimeter and behind the defenders to score an easy layup! I was shocked by how easy he made that look as we just stood there and watched.
  11. Robbie Hummel also got mad that Indiana wasn't in the conversation when there was a debate about whether Nebraska or Iowa has better corn. This is the state of where this program is now; commentators have nothing more to talk about.
  12. <sarcasm> Where is all this talk coming from about "rock bottom"? Really?? We hit rock bottom after Game #32 (22% winning percentage). Even if we lose out on our last five conference games and lose on Wednesday in the Big Ten tournament, Hoiberg would end up with a 23% winning percentage at Nebraska. Rock bottom is behind us. Move on! </sarcasm>
  13. Possibly another $3.5M. I'm not sure when the dates/cutoffs are for those in the contract.
  14. I'd much rather have this record...
  15. If it wasn't already clear who the worst team in the Big Ten was...
  16. Skipping beer sales and going straight for it, I see.
  17. Hey tcp. I bet people on this board will chip in to help me send you a new lap top. People are whispering that you were part of the Clinton White House that removed all the "W"s from White House keyboards the morning before Bush took office. Lately I've been reading @tcp in the voice of a German speaker with all these vv's.
  18. Erstad left long ago...
  19. Big changes? Is he even willing to make in-game changes? That's been the most upsetting point in all of this for me so far.
  20. *College baseball We'll see if/when MLB reports back to work...
