    Add me to the surprised group about Rivers negative +/- score. But maybe my observations that he's improved so much since last year is jading my view.

    The reason I don't think they take KU is because they want to increase their presence on the East Coast. All the teams being mentioned (minus Notre Dame) as the 15th and 16th memebers are all East Coast teams (GaTech, Virginia, North Carolina). I don't think that quality of the football program matters right now. We saw that with Maryland.

    The teams that I would go after next. Virginia Syracuse I don't think they'd take Kansas, but they'd fit. Pittsburgh would be another school, but with Penn State I don't see it happening.

    Kansas would be nice, but they really don't bring anything (viewers) to BTN I don't know why a team from the SEC would leave that conference.

    With the Big East taking another hit losing Maryland and Rutgers I wonder what that means to schools like Georgetown, Villinova, St. Johns and such. Could we see them start up their own basketball league? Maybe add in the likes of Xavier and some other top Mid Majors?

    The problem s that they are probably the only two remaining schools that fits what the Big 10 looks for. Didn't help that the ACC jacked up their buyout fee.

    I'm interested to see how Jalen Bradley does. He's a player I wish could have ended up at Nebraska.

    I have a feeling that Menke's mins will go down once Shields comes back.

    I've never understood the idea of leaving early. You invest the money in the ticket and such, why would you want to miss out on any of it. I can kinda understand leaving early in a blowout, but to leave when the game is still in doubt is beyound me.

    Agree with you here. I thought they did a great job rebounding. Surprised when I saw the stats.

    Personally I wasn't too impressed with Fahro. He had a couple of quick buckets, but he wasn't anything spectacular. I'm much happier that he Miles let him out of his scholorship, because he would have been eaten alive in Big 10 play.

    Great....looks like we could see some of Tyrance playing the "4" spot like was mentioned earlier.

    I'm just excited to be getting a wing that is taller than 6'5. Rivers was nice, now they have another coming in. Also love that he is a shooter. It will be nice to eventually have a team where are more than one or two guys who can consistently knock down open primeter shots.

    I forgot that he was at UAB till they showed the starting lineup. Wish him all the luck, but I'm happy that Miles decided to let him out of his scholarship. Wasn't too impressed with him.

    I'm pretty excited too. I think the low expectations has me the most excited because I think the team is going to be better than most people think. Yeah they are going to be bad, but I think they'll be competitive and fun to watch.

    To me it's Durant. I remember watching Paul Pierce but I don't really remember he standing out as much as Durant did. Maybe it's because I was a 6th grader and that Kansas team was stacked.

    yeah it's too bad for Shields. Hopefully he can get back by the Valpo and UNO game. If he's out two weeks that doesn't look good. But I think they'll be able to be fine without him against Midland and Southern.

    Midland's got a pretty good NAIA roster in my opinion. I wouldn't be surprised if they won their conference. They've got a really good coach too. They'll give the Huskers a run for the money early on. I really liked the Travis kid from Gross and thought he'd be a good player for Nebraska to try and get to walk on.

    My prediction is.... 9-4 in the non conference 5-13 in conference 0-1 in conference tournament 14-18 overall
