  1. Ken Griffey Jr. and Sandy Alomar? Lots of Alous out there but not quite HOF.
  2. Not that bad.
  3. Generally I agree with you. But expectations are must higher this year than typical, and so the losses, which are piling up, mean more. We've lost a home game, blew a game at Minny, lost a tough one at a good Maryland team, all in addition to a sad, sad performance last night. If we are OK heading toward a .500 league record this year(some years that would be really good), then your points are valid. I don't think that is the mindset of most this year.
  4. Lue and Hoiberg aren't coming here, but that has nothing to do with evaluating how the 2018-19 team is performing. I hope those with a rosy view of things end up prevailing and we finish strong. But those having serious questions after that egg we laid last night plus being 3-5 shouldn't be castigated. The way we played last night made it worse than just another loss in terms of questions being raised for the future.
  5. Miles has been here 7 years. Not even close to an analogous situation. Turn on him quickly? We're in year 7! And no way Indiana was a top 25 type team when we played them. Technically the rating in the now irrelevant rankings hadn't yet been changed, but it wasn't like we beat a great team out there. Nice win, but followed up with an OK performance and then a terrible one.
  6. From one of my buddies who was a D1 athlete: "This team has no heart. To have that much talent and no heart, just makes me want to puke". If there is any validity to that, how do you manufacture it mid-season? Man, we may miss tough guys like Evan Taylor and Anton Gill more than anyone could have realized.
  7. But can you acknowledge that if we have more performances like last night, that the 8 seed projection goes bye bye?
  8. Last night needs to be rock bottom. Can't afford it not to be. Home or away, that performance was inexcusable for a veteran team. Multiple players off their game, we had bricks for hands, poor effort, turnovers, stood around on offense , not much fight, Tim apparently wants to save his time outs for some other season rather than stop a 15-0 run. Team has some serious problems. Can they fix them?
  9. I mean, all this talk about winning a tournament game after tonight. "playoffs!"
  10. And a day less prep time. Can't recall a worse effort by a Husker team and staff.
  11. Yeah, more meaningful than Spurs who went dark a long time ago! ? Been doing this so long but tonight was truly one of the worst. Rarely post on a game feed but tonight was special unfortunately
  12. That would be awesome. Not likely, but awesome.
  13. Will do. Sorry I went dark but I had to cross over. I'll be at PBA cheering regardless. Just profoundly disappointing
  14. Don't worry, hell, I'll be there this Saturday morning throwing down pregame cocktails at 9 am. But hope is one thing and the disgrace tonight is probably more indicative of where we are
  15. Denial is a wonderful thing. I am so jealous of those who are not burdened by reality.
  16. No, I've crossed over. This one was inexcusable. Tim ain't getting this team back. He knows he's a dead man walking. Too bad, good guy who I've supported for 7 years. But he's not getting it done. BTN guys are skewering us. Deservedly so. Hate to see it but I'm not blind. But I'll still be there at every game. Knowing where we are doesn't change that. But I'm not gonna make excuses for this mess
  17. Well, we didn't play this one.
  18. It ain't if anymore. Done
  19. Not overreacting. What you're doing is an under reaction. And that's fine. But it's Alice in Wonderland .
  20. Yeah, when a guy like me goes this dark, u know it's bad. Not sure I've ever seen such a pathetic performance. Embarrassing. No excuse.
  21. If that. Most likely a complete meltdown and team is lost. Then we start from scratch again
  22. We ain't making shit. In the tank
  23. Neither does oblivious cheerleading. Reality bites
