  1. Fans only watch offense. Every time he was in the game Ohio State went right at him and scored. He had no chance defensively.
  2. More like 100
  3. Not explaining shit to a Jaysker.
  4. Hoiberg is not walking through the door. He isn't. So let that go. And "In Moos I trust." You obviously don't live around here. Moos is in as much of a precarious position as Miles.
  5. One test will be if I can stay awake to attend Prep v. Northstar at 5:15, given the early start. I have a driver lined up! So I like my chances! GBR!
  6. Well I've been up for 3 hours getting in the right frame of mind (or maybe just dealing with the sleep patterns of an old person) and will be leaving soon for screwdrivers and breakfast burritos. So if it goes south I get zero blame.
  7. Pretty sure she said our "starting wings" went 1-11. She wasn't talking about just one player. But yes, it was a "directed" statement.
  8. Yeah but all my friends say Molinari can't coach, so ignore that stat. ?
  9. I didn't think you were referring to me, I just thought the post was a little over the top under the circumstances. I don't think most of the posters questioning how we're doing through 8 conference games is an exercise in "self-loathing". It has been a rough week or two in terms of Texas Tech, Seton Hall, Creighton, and Indiana, so not being super enthused about having them be our best wins shouldn't be subject to ridicule. I would have hoped we could have grabbed a bigger W, and avoided a couple of the losses, with what we had coming back. Now, if we take care of business down the stretch and win the home games and 1 or 2 road games, we get in the Dance even without an indisputably great win, and who knows what could happen. But barring a big turn around in how we play, we're sending the good seed down the highway. Perhaps we'll peak late season or in the conference tournament. Anyway, its all good on my end.
  10. Easy peasey, Normie. If we make the tournament and win a game, I would prefer that Coach Miles remain our coach.
  11. With ! Miles and miles of ! (To quote Jimmy McGinty)
  12. And just a warning, mine may be with me! Of course, after a day in the Railyard, I may need a driver.
  13. That's fine, and thanks for the offer to save my time. But it you start a conversation by calling people "cowardly" and 'trolls" for having the audacity to have an opinion different than yours and actually being concerned that the team is underachieving at 3-5 , it's a little disingenuous to suddenly claim the high road.
  14. What are the good wins so far?
  15. Yes, based on what i see on the floor and 54 years of misery, , yeah, I'm worried.
  16. On the other hand, where are the good wins? At Clemson and at Indiana were decent. Creighton was Ok. But thought we might have some better ones by now. There will be opportunities out there, so we control our own destiny, but right now we're still waiting.
  17. Figuratively castrated so long ago I don't even think about it.....
  18. I thought about mentioning the Bonds, but since Barry is not in the Hall, I omitted them. I was a big fan of Bobby Bonds growing up; loved the Giants when they had Mays, McCovey, Marichal, Cepeda, and Gaylord Perry.
  19. Glad to be thinking of baseball! ?
  20. You're barking at the wrong guy. I have never been the one saying we can hire some big name proven winner or "legendary guy". In fact I've always said we can't. But that doesn't mean we can't ever make another hire of any kind. We'll see how it goes.
