I'm with Team Jacob(son) Ok not really. I feel its gonna be the Morrow kid. Almost because we need him to be the one that makes the greatest impact. If Watson has some growing pains, we still have Benny or Tai to fill in the void or even Shavon or AW3, it's not like their offense dictates that the point must initiate the offense.

ok I'll do it, what's the leg hair situation?

I think they could handle a basketball submission http://hailvarsity.com/uniforms/ That's not a bad idea. Anyone can say "that's terrible" or "I could do better" well....do better. As for the basketball unis, I like them. The shorts could have used a logo or something but I'm a fan. The tops remind me of my track jersey back in the day. But maybe I'm easy to please. I've been a fan of almost all of the alternates we've done so far. I wasn't too crazy about the tournament unis adidas put out last year but other than that I've liked them all. Even the Red out or White out ones we did that last year at the Bob.

B1G Basketball Recruiting Expenses with a Side of Crean
Red Rum replied to AuroranHusker's topic in The Haymarket Hardwood
Bo believes in buying their players, not "rent-a-player." It's a good investment in the long-run. Pretty good return on investment. -
Furthermore, is Petteway able to eat at Burger King with his tiny hands?

The baby face is being replaced by more of a chiseled jaw. The boy is becoming a man, and the man can play some mean ball. Looking forward to this kid. Growing up right before our eyes.

only on practice jerseys though for the bolded part like you alluded to. Yup, I forgot to include that bit thanks for picking me up.

I really like the Finals this year. The only thing I don't like is they start at 8:00. I'm getting old and I get up early. I usually go to bed at halftime.
-
I can see them maybe allowing a small patch on a practice jersey or something. I believe the NFL recently started allowing this. But with the soaring player salaries and with them the soaring ticket/concession prices maybe they can get sponsors on the jerseys. You know so they can pass those savings on to us, the fans

Paschal Chukwu 2015 C Providence transfer -> Syracuse
Red Rum replied to TheKamdyMan's topic in Husker Hoops Recruiting
No man, you don't. At what point does everyone realize that the only way Benny is leaving here is after 4 years on scholarship and that this fact isn't a negative? I don't know that BP plays more minutes but I expect him to fill a leadership void left by losing so many upperclassmen and bringing in so many new faces. Not only that it's kind of a d*%k move. It sets a bad precedent to any future recruits that at any time we could pull their scholarship if someone better comes along. This is not Indiana, we cannot do Spring Creaning. -
"We're going to find someone good." Check.

yeah most definitely call more fouls. We all want to go to a game that last 4 hours due to shooting of 150+ freethrows. Calling more fouls early in a season, if the refs stick with it and are consistent with it, will eventually loosen the game up considerably after a rough adjustment period. Teams, coaches and players will adjust or they'll lose games. ok...but that's a big if....we had a number of games last year that had way too many fouls called...and those turned out to be some of the most boring games ever becuase they kept disrupting the flow of the game. How do you address that problem. It also seems (and I could very well be reading you wrong) that you think that it all lays on the Teams, Coachs and Players. You don't think they need to do something about the officials? Like more consistancey, and weed out the officials that feel that they are the stars of the show? Yes, some of it is on the Teams....but they need to do something about the officials as well. They were boring games but they should have stuck with it. The players and coaches would have adjusted. It would have been a bad growing pain stage but I think it would have been better in the long run. Let Jay Bilas fix it. I've heard him talk a couple times about how to make the college games more exciting. Like adopting more FIBA rules, widening the lanes, moving the 3 point line back, creating more space stuff like that. I don't really think reducing the shot clock will have that much impact. Just more terrible shots.

2016 PF/C Mitch Lightfoot -> Kansas
Red Rum replied to The Polish Rifle's topic in Husker Hoops Recruiting
Yeah...I figured he was going to stay in the south/Pac-12 area. Having family in KC makes me think he would at least consider coming to Nebraska. When I say better shot, that doesn't mean I think we have a great shot. -

Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Am I doing this right? -
I think those are some pretty fair comments about his game. I do remember he was playing well in some of those camps last summer. And there is more freedom of movement in the NBA so maybe he can move more toward the knock down guy if he isn't constantly getting mugged by one or more guys. I think if you get him in some camps or workouts or even the summer league he'll look a lot better than he did last year. I'm not sure about how or where he'd get drafted but I wouldn't be surprised if he worked his way into the league someday.

I echo this statement. Unless someone posts it here or the HHC twitter account retweets it I usually don't see it. I follow enough crap on Twitter, I'm not following all these yayhoos too.

Wrong! These are the best shoes ever. Air Penny 2. I bought a pair on sale after the season and wore them the next season. It was like walking on a cloud.
