  1. I'm going with 100% on every single player on the team. As we all know guys, every student athlete goes pro, some go pro in something other than sports.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CXeDUFTaU1Y
  2. That is super duper!
  3. I kind of wanted to be productive today. This isn't helping.
  4. Maybe he's just being very business freindly to the Haymarket area bars??????
  5. I'm pretty sure my 200 level seats were $11 per game. I might be wrong, it's happened before.
  6. Unfortunately for us some kids pick style over substance. They like that flash.
  7. No clue why he was denied transfer, but I'd take him. It shouldn't be too hard to sell him on the experience of playing at PBA. He should have a general idea of what it's like...
  8. It was a good show, even in the cheap seats. Nothing wrong with Sir Paul leading the crowd in a "Husker Power" chant.
  9. Yes. Finish at least in the top half of the B1G. Yes.
  10. Watched the second half in bed, it was hard to get to sleep I was so pumped up. Kinda dragging a-- this morning. Totally worth it.
  11. Warm cockles are a good thing! In a month you'll be sweating your cockles off....
  12. I hear ya. It is a bad time to be slow at the office. During the season I would spend all kinds of time on here. Now I spend all kinds of time popping in to see if anything new has been posted. I'm running out of work friendly internet to look at.
  13. I'm not trying to rain on the parade. I think the class of Hammond, Smith and Ayegba is solid, but certainly nothing great in the B1G. I think Fuller should be able to help out next year. We had a great opportunity to take advantage of some positive momentum from March on, and we basically struck out. In Miles I trust, but that doesn't mean I'm pleased with how things have gone since our season ended. That's what I was saying. You have every right to not be pleased with how things have gone since the season ended. But saying the offseason was a disapointment is a leap in my book. We missed out on some guys yes, but its because of last season that we were even in the discussion. Not to nitpick, but by offseason I meant since the season ended. I think we're arguing semantics now. It's all good. Yes we are, happens a lot around here. Good talk. You guys have fun, I'll be soaking up some sun in Omaha for the next few day.

We missed out on some guys yes, but its because of last season that we were even in the discussion. Additionally, I'm not saying you said it was a disapointment. If it wasn't you I'm sorry I made it sound like you did. I don't remember who said it. I was speaking in broad terms.
  15. I understand people being disapointed but I disagree with the offseason being a disapointment. We've upgraded our roster with solid palyers. They aren't big named blockbusters but no one on our roster was when they came in. Except maybe Tai and that might have been partly our fault for throwing so much hype on the poor kid.
  16. Cornish seems pretty locked in to the recruiting scene in general. Maybe this pays off down the road with Cornish recommending Nebraska to someone else from Louisiana or the AAU scene. Or in a year or two when he's the victim of a shakeup...
  17. My opinion of the guy is probably similar to yours, but I do think he can be a positive for us in the Cornish recruitment. Hey the man is due. Now wouldn't be a bad time to break that "curse"... To add to that previous thread, Cornish is def going to Iowa....
  18. This seems a lot like a "If You Give A Mouse A Cookie" kind of scenario. We're still Nebraska Basketball. We need to sustain success before mid to high star talent is going to be beating down our door. But it will give me something to read while I'm pretending to work so have at it.
  19. I was really hoping for some Double D action this season....
  20. Last I heard is that Deng Deng is planning on recovering to make a go of it in the fall... hope it works out as planned. It would be great to see double-D in Red Double D might be my new favorite nickname.
  21. Ouch that's a heck of a penalty.
  22. Husker!!!!! (sorry I was on the Husker side)
  23. And aparently scared crapless at practice. I can't reall blame him, that kid is a beast.
