Brilliant. We apparently used football to entice Cincinnati to play us in basketball! We all knew about the home-and-home basketball series but I didn't realize it was tied to the football series. We are doing home and home in both sports. Would love to see more of this! Duke? North Carolina? etc! Anybody know where I can get us one of these packages? You can buy one at the Calipari store but there are a lot of hidden costs and no warranty.

Well the football schedule includes Colorado, Oklahoma, and Tennessee in future years, so maybe they will be added to the basketball schedule. I wouldn't mind seeing Nebraska basketball add these teams, but hopefully they improve a little bit, otherwise they aren't going to help Nebraskas RPI. Yeah, all those 20-win teams really kill our wonderful RPI:)

To be fair, it WAS a 4-0 train wreck, and we should have been undefeated going into Creighton. I think it is fair to expect to compete with, if not beat UMass this year. To add to your comment, after the loss to Kent St., we followed up with an impressive win at Wake Forest and another nice win against USC. Realistically, we could have been 2-5 going into the Creighton game, so even though it may not have been pretty, we were still winning.
