I'd take him on the scout team this year, then the active roster next year. Would be good for our other ball handlers to practice against him every day. 

I'm just guessing, but I doubt Iowa wrestlers wagered on wrestling matches.  I'll bet Ullis never plays here or at any other college program, scout team or other.

Any news on Ulis?  A lot of talk and now crickets.  I assume he will not be playing, but you would think the decision would be made about this by now. (cue the NCAA moving like a turtle talk)

According to NCAA guidelines, the punishment for athletes who wager on their own sport at another school is a loss of 50% of their remaining eligibility. Those who bet on their own teams or other sports at their own schools — as Ulis allegedly did by gambling on Iowa football — “will potentially face permanent loss of collegiate eligibility in all sports.”
