Good ball movement in the 1st half:  11 assists on 14 made baskets.

7 of 13 from deep, 14 of 28 shooting overall, 11 of 14 from the line. 17-11 rebounding edge.

 

DSU shot 46 percent from field, though, and 44 percent from deep.

 

I've been disappointed with our defense this year.  We need to play defense, otherwise what happened against Nova will happen more.  We are not going to consistently score 80 points a game, especially when we play the better teams in the Big 10.  Need to get to that lock-down defense, IMO.  I just hope the young-ins figure it out.  You need that balance.  You can't have Tai and Benny who can't score, but play good defense.  You also can't have the freshmen who can get buckets, but can't stop guys on the other end.
