huskerbaseball13 Posted March 13, 2015 Report Posted March 13, 2015 Reflecting on the season I counted 9 games we lost that we had a lead in the second half. I think this probably illustrates a few things.....1. A fragile mental case of a team. Which I think we already knew this to be the case as they played tight pretty much since the opening tip of the exhibition game. And 2. It as a terrible year but maybe we still aren't that far away from contending for the big dance again. Cut that number in half and we are probably talking about the NIT instead of whose coming and going for next year. The shooting woes have been discussed but with a clean slate next year and hopefully a floor general in Tarin or Watson... instead of giving back the lead multiple times this team will keep their foot on the opponents neck. AuroranHusker Posted March 13, 2015 Report Posted March 13, 2015 Just take a look at the shooting numbers for the team, they are not very good. 41% total w/ 28% 3-pt, 71% FT http://www.huskers.com/fls/100/MBBStats/2015/teamcume.htm Quote

PimpMario Posted March 13, 2015 Report Posted March 13, 2015 I can't really think of 9 games we should have won. We were in the Maryland and Penn St games. The first Iowa game. IW. Rhode Island...? The only one of those I thought we really choked away are the IW. Quote
Silverbacked1 Posted March 14, 2015 Report Posted March 14, 2015 And I will say that the ref really helped ICW that last minute or so. Quote
