An extremely impressive win. I did not see this coming. If we can beat Ohio State, we will be going into the Big 10 tournament with confidence and who knows what could happen.

This might be the most exciting Nebraska women's basketball game I have seen... If you want a definition of team play that was them tonight!!! Am going to bed tonight like a kid in a candy store

Well played by everyone.....really well done by every player. Everyone did their job, and did it well.

 

Havers battled with the big girl at probably a 50 lb disadvantage. Made some nice shots, and she took some shots from Ms B

 

All the seniors just played lights out. Calm and in control...all the time. Girls off the bench didn't slow us down at all. Gave some periodic rests for the starters, and put in productive minutes when on the floor.

 

Nat was lights out.....her best game shooting in her short career....and running the offense.  And she's no longer just a freshman. The kids got it !  The team shooting was finally there.

 

The defense scheme...Hallie defensively sagging in the paint to limit B.s touches...double teaming....worked perfectly.

 

Offensive patience & scheme....no wild thrown up 3s..and the scheme to get the ball to the high post (Emilie, Hallie, Allie) was too easy. Minn never defended it (or much else either....they won't go far in NCAAs with no defense)...and it looked like they kind of quit in the second half.

 

Just thought our coaches had the perfect game plans... offense and defense. ...and the girls played them perfectly.

 

I was nervous at the half...thought MInn would come out and might grind us into the floor.....what the He** do I know.

What a game!  One of the best efforts ever.  Great job by the coaches and players.  Did not think we were capable of blowing out a good team.  Just to hard for us to score previously. 

 

Coaches had us ready.  Players executed.  Great passing!  Everyone played well.  Just a joy to watch this team tonight. 

 

I called the Zowee B star treatment before the game.  She had about 8 fouls early but one officially.  Emily flat out stuffed her in the second half, clearly all ball, and they called the worthless anticipation call (plus star treatment).  Well, screw them, we destroyed them anyway.

I will miss these seniors.  Great effort for all 4 years.  Great to see Brandy put it together this year.  It will take a while to overcome the loss of this group, despite the incoming talent.

Absolutely one of the best games we played this year. One of our best defensive efforts all year. The sharp crisp passing is finally starting to rear it's head, let's hope it's here to stay. Had we had this many players when we went to St Paul last January we would have won up there.

 

What we're finding out is when the Huskers can hit that 3 ball we're hard to stop. I couldn't believe just how open Emily and Allie were practically every time they got the ball. Great to see Miss Natalie hit those big threes!

 

Hailie S just continues to come up with big and crucial rebounds right at the right time. And Brandi continues to go into the land of the giants and grab rebound after rebound! That's just so impressive! Good production off the bench!

 

Huge win! That may have just put us in the Big Dance as an at large bid!! Hope we continue to play like this next Sunday when Ohio St comes to town. Glad to see Kalenta and Emily Wood get into the game all be it a minute and half!

Nice win.  Frankly, I didn't believe we could score enough to beat Minnesota.  The Gophers didn't seem to have much in the tank tonight.  I noticed Chandler Smith getting 7 rebounds and some nice assists.  Romeo is a gem.

If we'd been quicker to adjust to Rachel's absence, just think where we might be now. If we keep playing like this, I like our chances in the postseason. Tonight the team put on an absolute clinic . . . looked like the Spurs/Hawks/Warriors.
