Same problem as the first game.  Too many silly, unforced turnovers.  Cut the turnovers, NU probably wins the game.

Fantastic effort, great will to win.  Need to get healthy...fast.

Turnovers killed us. Also, poor shooting in the second half. Did a good job keeping Logic under control, and we rebounded well. We have some more tough games coming up - hopefully we can start putting together a complete game soon.

And Nebraska usually seems to take care of the rock--but not tonight.  This is not a good sign for when they come to Evanston--Northwestern's defense is high-intensity.

But, first, the Huskers need to take care of business against Wisconsin.  They are NOT the men's team!

Got to get #33 back on the court! We win this game with her in there, as a matter of fact 2 of our last three losses with her in there would have been w's.

Here's my beef, Start mixing up the defenses!! Coach Sunny where you at?!! We're the only "top 25 program" that has a coach that's too stubborn to throw in a 2-3 zone defense!! I got so tired of watching us get caught behind a screen in the lane or just outside the lane giving #25 an easy 5 footer. We got caught in a bad match up too many times the second half because of the man defense!

Brandi Jeffery was my player of the game I thought she played spectacularly. Romeo looked good too but a little too hesitant to shoot the second half. Emily comes away with 19 boards! Good to see Hailie Sample get up off the deck suck it up and get right back in there! Looked like she was hurting though at the end of the game.

22 turnovers?

I hate Iowa!!

I don't know if Theriot will be back anytime soon. But she did shoot the ball  some during warmups when the players first come out of the locker room.

Sure you want to zone Iowa with all of those shooters?  They have pretty good ball movement and I would worry about the open shots they would get in that.  We dominated the boards also last night, which I'm not sure we do with a zone. But I'm no X and O guy.

well, from everything i have learned from watching bb over the years (not pro, though) i would not want to zone a team such as iowa---that can hit from the perimeter like they can.

I'm not saying go to a straight zone I'm saying mix it up a little and play both zone and man. Throw the other team off once and a while. We play a man now where we always leave a shooter open anyway because someone is always in the lane doubling up the big girl anyway. Usually it's Rachel that has to help down under leaving her girl open on the perimeter and then she has to try and get out there before the shot goes up! And that has burnt us more than once over the past couple of seasons. Had we went to a zone against Rutgers we would have probably won that one.

It should have displayed a tweet...that might not work via tapatalk.

It was a picture of some of the men's team at the game
