AuroranHusker Posted February 22, 2015 Report Posted February 22, 2015 I hope miles actually lets him play starters minutes. he needs the experience a lot more than rivers. It will depend on how he is playing. As it should. Totally agree. Hope Nick makes NU fuller on O & adequate on D. Quote
Silverbacked1 Posted February 22, 2015 Report Posted February 22, 2015 https://twitter.com/HuskerExtraBR/status/569279983056756736 I love Miles and usually appreciate his straight shooting approaches to interviews, but he could have handled his statements about Fuller a little bit more professional. I am a pretty big fan though of Fuller so maybe I am over reacting....I just see a kid that is trying to bust into the rotation and was hoping to see comments that reflected a little more confidence from his head coach. I got the impression that Miles chicken out not that Fuller did. I see it that Tim was going to put him in and then thought he couldn't put him in. I could be wrong though. Quote

It's honesty. It's unusual. It's awesome. It can bite you in the butt in this day and age. Quote
Red Don Posted February 22, 2015 Report Posted February 22, 2015 Seems pretty clear (at least to me) that Miles was the one who had 'second thoughts' about putting Fuller in the lineup, not Fuller. (but who knows - its Twitter ) Anyway, All the Best to Nick on his first Start. Quote
PimpMario Posted February 22, 2015 Report Posted February 22, 2015 I am really excited to see fuller today. I rearranged my schedule so I make this game in no small part to see fuller play. Hopefully he is one of the pieces to help us in the future. Quote
Bugeaters1 Posted February 25, 2015 Report Posted February 25, 2015 Fuller will not be in the starting lineup tomorrow night. Quote
extremehoops Posted February 25, 2015 Report Posted February 25, 2015 Fuller will not be in the starting lineup tomorrow night. I thought Fuller was one of the guys that continued to hustle during the Iowa game. Quote

bkamler Posted February 26, 2015 Report Posted February 26, 2015 Fuller consistently storms the boards on both ends cuz he "wants" that rebound. Rebounding is mostly about desire and commitment. Quote

Your comment got me a little curious, so I thought I would measure who our most prolific rebounders are in terms of rebounds per minute. Maybe Kye deserves a little more playing time! Player Reb Min RPM Abraham, Moses 59 189 0.312 Kurkowski, Kye 3 11 0.273 Smith, Leslee 31 144 0.215 Hammond, Jake 7 36 0.194 Shields, Shavon 166 967 0.172 Pitchford, Walter 126 750 0.168 Fuller, Nick 20 120 0.167 Rivers, David 98 601 0.163 Petteway, Terran 134 940 0.143 Webster, Tai 51 480 0.106 Smith, Tarin 47 470 0.100 Parker, Benny 64 781 0.082 Menke, Trevor 0 11 0.000 Quote
hskr4life Posted February 26, 2015 Report Posted February 26, 2015 No wonder Menke rides the pine... kid can't even grab a board! I kid Trev... you are one heck of a teammate and sometimes the life of the team! You deserve every minute you get. Quote
