BirdsOnTheBat Posted June 12, 2015 Report Posted June 12, 2015 Are we off the list now? Dude has some serious ups. http://www.scout.com/player/6867379n-kwe-parker/recruiting?s=75 How about a simple yes or no answer to the question please? Quote
49r Posted June 12, 2015 Report Posted June 12, 2015 Are we off the list now? Dude has some serious ups. http://www.scout.com/player/6867379n-kwe-parker/recruiting?s=75 How about a simple yes or no answer to the question please? I don't have one. I'm as unclear on it as Norm. The Scout site says he has medium interest in Nebraska, but no offer. He has only taken one official visit, and that was today to Rutgers. Quote

Dude has some serious ups. http://www.scout.com/player/6867379n-kwe-parker/recruiting?s=75 How about a simple yes or no answer to the question please? Well....according to that particular list we have interest but no offer. Until we schedule him to visit, consider him not on the list. Quote
ShortDust Posted June 12, 2015 Report Posted June 12, 2015 I think dimes is right. We are looking in a different direction. Quote
Miles ahead of the rest Posted August 24, 2015 Report Posted August 24, 2015 Will be the best athlete that Rutgers has ever seen Quote
Norm Peterson Posted August 24, 2015 Report Posted August 24, 2015 If he would have been willing to go to Rutgers, he would have been willing to at least listen to us. It seems like there was never much "fire" with this one. A little smoke and that was all. Not sure if we ever really went after him but you'd have to wonder. Quote
hhcmatt Posted August 24, 2015 Report Posted August 24, 2015 Will be the best athlete that Rutgers has ever seen Depends on how old you are. James Bailey's nickname was "Jammin" However, as a senior, he was met with constant double and triple teaming, and Rutgers' opponents "held" him to 79 dunks as a senior. If Parker wasn't signing with us I'm glad it's Rutgers so I'll have something to look forward to when we play them. Quote
hhcmatt Posted November 4, 2015 Report Posted November 4, 2015 Even if he can jump as high as a 6'10" player I'm not sure we can go after another guard Quote
busticket Posted November 4, 2015 Report Posted November 4, 2015 Interesting. I guess if we strike out recruiting a legit big maybe we do go after him. We could play a bit smaller, using guys like Morrow, Jacobsen and Horne manning the paint. Not ideal but it's not like we would be back in the days of playing Ade at center. Quote

I don't see us being able to slow play our way into this guy with our need for size and his notoriety and his East Coast location. I'd put money on him playing in the ACC next year Quote

Ade >>> P for 3 Just saying. Quote
busticket Posted November 7, 2015 Report Posted November 7, 2015 Ade was a true warrior for sure. It is more fun to watch a guy who leaves it all on the floor than a guy who on paper appears to have what you need but the coach can never get it out of him. Quote
