Miles is really showing weaknesses as a high level coach right now. Good teams, well coached teams just don't go through consistent bad stretches like we do. Anyone who roots for this team should be alarmed.

Bad stretches are not exclusive to Miles. Visit the old HHC message board and you'll have plenty of reading material to last you through 2015.

bad teams, badly coached teams do not win 8 of 10 and have a road win at Michigan State with the team we had last year.  Disagree 100 percent.

I am sorry, I am struggling understanding this...I really am.  It started with the missed dunk...two points since then.

Reminds me of, I think  it was Pitchford's,  missed reverse dunk in the tournament last year.

I don't disagree that I'd likely have plenty of reading material. I too, lived through Collier and Sadler. But, you have to get past that, and start evaluating what is in front of you now, in 2014. Our level of expectation should be MUCH higher than what is on the floor. We should be beating non-ranked teams including in-state rivals. Anything less is just not progress.

If you can not see progress with the team since those eras, or even Miles first year, something is wrong.  Something is very wrong.

We lost to UMASS, UAB, Creighton, and Cincinnati in non-conference play last year. Aside from Incarnate Word, is that any different than last year? I have my hesitations, but I'm interested to see how we'll play out the early conference season. I sure hope it's much better than last year's start.
