Miles has always struggled against the press.

Some have suggested it was lack of a true pg.

 

Maybe to a certain extent, but Parker, Smith, Webster and Petteway can all handle the ball well. It comes down to coaching and knowing how to attack it. We pass the ball or pick up our dribble EXACTLY where our opponents want us to.

Ya know, we may win this game...I don't know how.  But we may.

 

That said, free throw shooting.  Finishing at the rim.  Breaking a press.  Reducing turnovers.  All of these need to improve exponentially.  This is tough.

My problem with our attack on the press is that they let one guy completely stop their dribble and just skip it across to the other side, so it pushes the 10 second limit...and then just barely get it across and then pick up their dribble again.  If you are double teamed, someone is roving free....

Hawaii is going 8-9 players deep and out hustling us.

 

Nebraska cant go 7 guys at this level and be sucessful.  This is the time of the year you work guys in and make your bench deeper.

Given some time Fuller and Hammonds cannot be as bad as some over tired players.  Give them 2 minutes to give guys a rest
