Petteway is a ball hog.  Wouldn't hurt to run a bit of time and wait for a good shot...

If it wasn't for Petteway, we would be a pretty pedestrian team

Guy who forces shots when they're not falling and doesn't pass the ball to work the offense.

Or, Petteway the first six minutes of the second half.

 

Who else is looking for the freaking shots?  Walt is on the bench.  Rivers has passed up numerous shots.  Benny has passed up open looks.  Moses is, well Moses...he is offensively challenged.  Shavon was on the bench.  Sheesh...he is our top player, of course he is going to look for shots.

 

Who CAN look for shots when Petteway never gives up the ball?   

 

Oh wow...really, really.  So you are hating on arguably our best player.  That is flippin wrong.  Sooo wrong.

How about maybe maybe work the ball around a bit, take a little time off the clock in a game that you are winning by 13.  Then if no one gets a good shot Petteway can go one on 5?   That make ya happy?   One player continuously going down the court and taking quick shots early in the shot clock and missing them is never good basketball, whether it's your best player or not....

Just because Petteway is one of our best players doesn't mean he can't grow and learn to share the ball a little more.

 

They whole team sometimes gets a little selfish.

 

The only reason Nebraska is in this game is FSU has missed 13 free throws.  FSU is playing better.
