HB
Tai's mom was indeed holding a New Zealand flag after the game, while Tai walked off with the team into the locker room, to a rousing cheer from the Red Zone. He was a rock star all night. Good job Red Zone. FWIW, Tai watched Red Panda intently. She brought her A game.

lang
I was down in the tunnel leading to the locker room as the players left the floor after their victory. Tai was right behind the players giving high 5's to the fans. He caught me off guard and I was kicking myself for merely high fiving him. If I could redo...I would say "we want Webster" in a soft chant fasion ( most of you know the red zone and others were chanting that a few times last night ) and given him a big grin or I could've simply asked " so are you N?" GATA
The longer this goes without him signing, the more and more worried I get. I'm sure it's nothing, but I have a nagging feeling that more marquee programs are in his ear the longer this drags out. Hopefully I'm worrying over nothing. 1sdpad2
Sounds like there isn't anything more that could have been done on this visit. Weather was good, game was good, crowd was good. I'm sure Miles did everything he could do. Thanks to all of you for the nice welcome to him. Now Tai just needs to sign on the dotted line! 49r
Like most, I am hopeful that Tai's visit goes well and he sign his LOI with NU. Based on what I have read, it seems there are at least 5 different scenarios that could play out regarding Tai and his commitment: ---snip--- 5. Which leads me to the 5h, and IMO, best way this could play out. By all reports, Tai has now graduated from HS. Thus, there is no apparent reason why he couldn't enroll in school and start classes in January. Numerous football players have done this and there is no reason a basketball player couldn't also do it. If Tai were to enroll, there would be no need to sign a LOI. Enrolling in classes has the same effect as a LOI, it would commit him to NU and I believe he would have to sit out a year if he later decided to transfer. Plus, enrolling in January would mean he would immediately begin to work with the team and trainers in off-season workouts, lifting, training table, etc. He could practice with the current players in the Hendrix facility, etc. This clearly is the best case scenario and the one I am still holding out hope for. I guess now we know why this scenario didn't take place???

Norm Peterson
Gotta get whatever those hurdles are cleared so that Tai the (something that rhymes with Tai) can GATA.
49r
I am more convinced now than ever that, come hell or high water, Tai Webster will be a Husker. His apparent level of commitment to the Huskers in light of recent news is astounding to me and I for one am grateful to have a kid of this caliber willing to make as big of a sacrifice as he is to get here. Vinny
I just checked rivals top 100 for 2013, and the top 26 were 5 stars, top 27 were on 247. So he's basically saying Tai would be a 5 star or almost a 5 star. Awesome! Nebrasketballer
