Are we actually recruiting this guy? He was also listed last year as having interest in Nebraska.

Don't know, I guess that is what I am asking. The site that I included said we offered and were "warmer." I have no clue, that is why i posted this inquiry.

He's a Memphis kid and, according to that site, holds offers from Memphis and Tennessee. And he's considering us? Why?

If that's really his offer list, then he's the kid I want right now to finish this class. If that's a real offer list and if he's really 7-0 and 250#, then sign him up as quick as possible.

Edited to add: According to Rivals, he does have offers from Memphis and us as well as Auburn, Arkansas and some others. No Tennessee offer according to Rivals but I'm not sure how up-to-date they are on offers made or pulled. In any event, the Memphis offer was at least confirmed by Rivals. And, according to Rivals, we're in the picture as well.

Kind of an entertaining discussion about this kid on a Memphis Tigers discussion board. One of the posters said about Edwards that, from what he was hearing about the kid, "he couldn't play dead in a western movie."

Others were saying bad footwork, bad hands. Here's an especially concerning quote: "His footwork is bad, yes, but at this point his number 1 biggest problem is his hands. I am not sure, maybe people can improve in that regard but you rarely see it. From my viewing experiences, bad hands are bad hands."

Which was followed by: "Actually, his hands and footwork didn't look terrible. His motor is stopping him right now."
