Could Vitto Brown shake loose?

Wisconsin picked up its fifth verbal commit the other day and its second power forward in the class of 2013 when PF Nigel Hayes chose the Badgers.

Could that sway Brown to back out of his commitment and choose Nebraska? I know it's a long shot, but you never know until he actually signs.

I would take Vitto over any other option right now. The only other guy in my limited view would be the kid who decommitted from Wichita State. Vitto is a quality player. There's a reason B1G programs wanted him. Looking at offers, he's right up there.

Did Wisconsin only have 4 scholarships available? If not, what about filling out their recruiting class would make Brown change his mind? The fact that they recruited another forward? Seems like a stretch.

I suppose the thinking is that maybe Brown sees they've taken another PF, which likely limits his PT. Some schools might use that for negative recruiting purposes. And it ain't official until his signature is on an LOI submitted during the LOI signing period and not a moment sooner or later.

Nebraska may take 5 recruits this year as well along with 2 PFs/Cs, so I doubt Vitto is going to change his mind to Nebraska given that NU is in the same recruiting situation that Wisconsin is in. This seems like a very pointless issue to discuss. I would say Nebraska has a better chance at getting Agau to change his mind than Vitto.
