Uhh...Green Bay and Gonzaga are both down in the 2nd half...should we be worried? IMO, if Green Bay doesn't even reach the conference final they should be out. If Gonzaga loses in the quarterfinal to an awful Santa Clara team...that would suck to see them steal a bubble bid. They have a bad resume.

Green Bay won't get an at large. If the Zags lose, root for BYU to win the tournament.

After looking at their resume, I'm not concerned with them losing to Milwaukee. They will have 3 bad losses, and 17 wins against 100+ teams. 24-6 from the Horizon League with only 1 quality win against Virginia shouldn't be good enough.

Had Green Bay lost in the conference final, they'd have a little better argument. But the conference semifinal on their own floor...it'd be a joke if they get in.

So looking at some games today that we want to watch...

 

Obviously we need Wichita State to win the Valley today....REALLY big game for bubble teams.

 

NW @Purdue...loser gonna take the #12 seed.  I personally would rather see NW win JUST in case we get that 5 seed.  Purdue with Hammonds can beat anybody I would think on any given day.  Not that NW can't, but not "as likely"

 

Syracuse @FSU....FSU would have a shot to get back in the mix with a win today.  Need Syracuse to get this one.

 

St. Louis @UMASS...RPI/SOS with a UMASS win

 

Mercer vs FGCU for a ticket to the dance....go FGCU!  

 

LaSalle @St. Joe's....would love to see St. Joe's drop this game at home.  Not likely, but would hurt them.

 

Michigan State @Ohio State...Go MSU!  Lock us into that 4 seed.  Now, we want to get in with a win obviously, but why not have MSU guarantee it for us early. 

 

Penn State @Minnesota...Minnesota still has a shot to get in.  Let's knock them off the bubble with a home loss

If we beat Wisconsin we are in guys common sense....no 4th place team in big ten at 11-7 is getting left out. No one expected us to beat IU with that win + a Wisconsin win and our unreal record last 12 games. We will not be left out the best thing for us is that we are on without a lot of competition..unless the board wants to see the amazing race, the good wife or revenge we have a huge shot to show them why we are an at large team....our chance is now

We are in if we beat Wisconsin but that doesn't mean we shouldn't root against other bubble teams. I am rooting for us to get a higher seed. Getting out of the first four "play in" games would be huge.

With a win today and one in the B1G tourney, I could see us grabbing a 10 seed.
