Who do I want within reason?  Hmmm.

I want Covington to transfer when we hire his old coach.

How many spots we got?   Hard to keep track of with all the unused spots and early attrition.

We had one senior, one left open and given to Peltz, another with Biggs getting dismissed and two more with Vooch and Hawkins deciding to leave early.  So, that's 5.  Then, we bring in Hammond and have a verbal from Tarrin Smith.  That takes us back to three.

If we can get Covington, I'd prioritize filling the other 2 spots with senior transfers and try to get at least one athletic big out of those two spots and a dead-eye shooter with the other one.

To be continued ...

Ryan Anderson has made my list (of who you want within reason.)  He scored in double figures all but a handful of games this year and scored 20 or more 7 times.  As a sophomore, he put up 15 and 8.  He's listed at 6'8" and 220#.  Be nice if he was about 2 inches taller and about 30 pounds heavier, but I'd take 15 and 8 in a heartbeat.  But, as with any other senior transfer, every school with an open spot wants one.

Now, I understand that two of those guys would be out after a year, but we get two bigs which allows us to sit Hammond and let him grow(physically and mentally).

Covington would redshirt most likely as well and we can focus our recruiting on bringing in young bigs who would sit behind Hammond/Pitchford.

I am ok with a guy like Chiles as well, if he takes Moses spot.

Anderson is planning on redshirting this next year to have shoulder surgery.  So he wont work in your scenario above.  He has to sit anyways due to NCAA rules as hes not a grad transfer.

I wasnt sure. I thought i heard somewhere that he might try and graduate this spring, but nothing in any articles.

I still would want him here, even if he didnt play this season. Might work better with Moses playing anyways.

Thanks for the heads up on the Shoulder injury. Where did you see that?
