royalfan Posted February 11, 2014 Report Posted February 11, 2014 That means we would win a little less than 2 of 3 times per them. I thought the line would be 3.5. Gotta get this one. It is tricky game. Quote
Jadler Posted February 11, 2014 Report Posted February 11, 2014 Isn't home court worth 6-8 points? Meaning we'd be dogs on a neutral court? Quote
hskr4life Posted February 12, 2014 Report Posted February 12, 2014 I thought it was 3 so we would be 1 point favs on a neutral court Quote
hhcmatt Posted February 12, 2014 Report Posted February 12, 2014 Going by KenPom, which isn't the point spread, it's about 4. He has us winning by 4 at home, losing on the road by 4 Quote
Jadler Posted February 12, 2014 Report Posted February 12, 2014 Ahh, I stand corrected. Thanks! Quote
throwback Posted February 12, 2014 Report Posted February 12, 2014 Good news! We're undefeated under Miles in Big Ten games when we're a favorite ... of course this is only the 4th time we've been favored in a league game the past 2 seasons. Miles' teams are a very impressive 19-10-1 against the spread in Big Ten reg-season and postseason games, including 8-2 this season. So I guess that means we win the award for being the most successful underrated/undervalued B1G team by Las Vegas. Quote
royalfan Posted February 12, 2014 Author Report Posted February 12, 2014 Sort of a false opener. When lines came out that you could actually bet it was 3. So that is more of a real opening line. Quote
royalfan Posted February 12, 2014 Author Report Posted February 12, 2014 Should be a close one. This is a game we need to man up and get the job done somehow. If we get a 7 point lead we have to get it to 12. They are good enough to make a run so we have got to pounce on them if we get a chance. And another crappy start not likely to work. Quote
Norm Peterson Posted February 12, 2014 Report Posted February 12, 2014 The transfer from Drake is a baller. Imagine where they'd be if he'd decided to transfer somewhere else instead. Had plenty of options. Chose Illinois. And he's still the best player on a mediocre team. Second verse same as the first. Might as well have stayed at Drake. (Or was it Northern Iowa?) Quote

HoiBall Posted February 12, 2014 Report Posted February 12, 2014 I'm sure they are thinking something similar about us... Quote
hskr4life Posted February 12, 2014 Report Posted February 12, 2014 Winner tonight keeps their outside hopes for Dancing alive. It's a big game in terms of postseason and momentum Quote
Norm Peterson Posted February 12, 2014 Report Posted February 12, 2014 This is a close to a must-win as any game we've had all season. So much turns on holding down the home floor for the rest of the year. Winning tonight doesn't get us there, but losing tonight basically ends our chances. Must win. Quote
