Talking with my brother today, he thinks this is the deepest team we've had talent-wise since 90-91.  I was ready to ask him for some of whatever he was on, but he might have a point.  When you look at the 9-10 man rotation, there is some ability there.  Does he have a point?

sure, but they're not as good as that team. we can go 9-10 deep with this squad, which is pretty unusual for us.

I completely agree.  With the seniors on that team, there's no way this team comes close.  But, IIRC, that team was picked to finish either last or next to last in the Big 8.  I really like this team.

me, too. guard heavy as hell, but a pretty talented bunch by our standards. I can finally see the rest of the game now that BTN decided to actually show the game online.

 

if and when we get a couple of bigs with some skill, we'll be tough for a few years.

Petteway is frustrating to watch. Never plays within the offense and chucks up shots like he was given the green light to stall the offense.

really? team's been pretty flat since the 9 minute mark, and petteway's one of the only players playing with any energy.
