Atewe changes mind

In a stunning turn of events, Andy Katz has reported Canadian prep star Matthew Atewe has reconsidered his decision to sign with Auburn and has recommitted to Nebraska. Reportedly he was upset by the angst shown on message boards in the Cornhusker Nation and heartened by all the positive tweets sent by fans from that basketball crazed state.

If Attewe would have waited just a couple days longer, he really could have had an awesome April fool's day joke--telling each fan base of his commitment with a linked picture which said 'April Fools'.  A lot of people would have been angry.  But it would have been awesome.

Jimmy, I had the same idea (but I was going to try to sell it with a straight face and see if I got any suckers) except I was going to say he tweeted that he changed his commitment to Nevada.  That he'd developed a serious relationship with a stripper while he was out there on his visit and decided he wanted to be nearer to her for college.
