Go home, get healthy and get this disaster washed out of our system. I like Logan but she is such a poor ball handler and gets stripped too many times.  Hargrove and Bozan were our only dimly bright spots.  This loss further emphasizes the need to win our home games.

If one is looking for positives, Hargrove is one solid piece of clay to build something with.  Impressive body, shooting ability, and toughness.  Bozan showed some great potential also.  That's 3 really good freshmen, and with Potts coming back, that's a good nucleus.  Hopefully Amy will be a little more active in the portal this year, and recruit quickness and strong defenders, and perhaps another shooter.   Not mailing in this season, but with what Prince, Hargove and Bozan are showing, it's maybe OK to look ahead.

We played an all around poor game. However It's hard to beat somebody when you shoot your 3's poorly and the other team shoots really well.

That is true. Nebraska barely held on against a B1G cellar dweller in that exact same scenario the last time NU played at P.U.

Actually, Nebraska out shot Indy 48 to 46 % The game was won from distance. 27 to 43 %

Indiana scored 30 more points on threes than NU did today. Almost the exact same thing happened at P.U., the only difference is that the Huskers scored a ton in the paint against P.U., an 0-10 B1G team. Indiana's good enough whereas the Boilers simply were not.

I understand that.

Yep! Boy, do we need to pick up a quick athletic lock-down defender who can guard the opponent’s best 2 guard or 3 guard one on one and keep them in check. Preferably a defender in the 5’11 to 6’2 range.

I mean, is that asking too much?! Lol

It’s not like there are 75 other D1 schools all looking for the exact same thing!

I would say it is a sure thing that we will be more active in the portal. We are losing at least four players, have at least two more coming off of a major injury, and only have one high school player signed.

Well, I've thought that before, so it will have to be a change of approach.   I hope you're right.

Tough loss today for the women but not unexpected.  They played six days ago while we just played Thur. night.  AM is under the weather and didn't play much.  IU executed much quicker than we did most of the time, and when you are outdone by your opp. making 3s 13-3 then it is almost guaranteed to be fatal.  Unless you are getting tons of close range shots which is hard still to overcome that kind of 3 pt. shooting.  Hopefully AM recovers and we play a lot better Thur. night against UM.  GBR!!!  🌽🏀💓

I was just providing more context to the situation, I wasn't specifically targeting your comment Bug, just wanted to share the thought for clarity's sake.

To say team played poorly when they out shot Indiana on FG % inside the arc. is what I was refering to.
