Medically might just be to the point she just can't risk anymore injury, beyond this point

Anytime you can get out of Piscataway with a win take it. Taylor Kissinger used to tell me that they hated to play Rutgers, your arms were covered in scratches. to th e guy who said play Prince 37-38 minutes. No no no. She's a freshman. You risk burn out. College seasons are much longer than high school   shes played a season worth of HS minutes already.

If she was not charged with the T, Petrie would have shot the FT rather than Prince.

I still can't figure that out.  Petrie clearly was fouled by Adams - for her 5th.  But JP didn't shoot at all. Had there been a TF, i expected that JP would shoot the two for that foul and then BP would shoot the tech.  It was called an intentional, not a technical.

There is something fishy going on with that play. Like you say, JP should have shot the freethrows right? and then we get the ball

According to the stats I just saw, no technical is shown, so no, it doesn't make make since Prince shot the free throws. It looked like they called the technical, because Prince did the shooting.

The refs sucked....shows they were in lala land the whole game.

well, here is another factor.  by the time JP was pushed by Adams (the intentional foul) JP had already fouled out.  It was she who fouled the shooter.  I don't know the rule on this one - or even if there is a rule - for what happens when an already fouled out player gets fouled intentionally.  Maybe it is that JP is out of the game so her team gets to choose who takes the free throws, ??????

 .... not if the situation and the rule are  what i cited above - if that is the case the refs knew what to do and were right on top of it.   Thinking this thru again - I think that is what happeened
