My point is that you should not have given out weather advice, especially for Omaha where you don't even live. Turns out, it was pretty freaking terrible advice. They ended up closing the interstate because of so many accidents. Leave the weather advice to the National Weather Service and other professionals next time. Thanks.

Anyone that bases their weather related travel decisions based solely on a basketball message board moderator's post is fully responsible for a bad outcome. We all have up to date weather info at our fingertips in an instant, which is great since weather changes quickly this time of year in the midwest.

HHCMATT isn't be responsible for any accidents that may have happened because someone didn't check for themselves.

This piling on seems excessive.

I knew everyone else would feel that way, which is why I said to downvote away. But this would be like taking medical advice from a random stranger on whether they should go to the doctor or not. Weather and its potential impact is a serious topic. I'll stop now. Just hoping folks think twice in the future. Unfortunately, not everyone in the general public is capable of making weather decisions for themselves, so they will do what they read, not considering whether it's from the NWS or a basketball fan.

To be clear, I probably would have stayed home if I lived in Omaha, and I appreciate you sharing your opinion. It's the shaming I don't care for

I never really thought of Williams as an NBA player, but I think he has a shot.

He's like Andrew White if AW was able to handle the ball and/or defend. He's really a complete player.

If BW can consistently do something similar to what he accomplished last night, and I don't mean points per se, then I suspect he will be trending into that fringe NBA type of dude. Having a good handle certainly helps his cause.

As to the weather topic...growing up in rural Nebraska, early in my life I learned that everyone in Nebraska had an opinion on the weather and each person was right about 50% of the time.  The truth is that there are hints in the weather patterns that can help determine what is going to happen...
