Huskerpapa Posted April 4 Report Posted April 4 The surgery was to both feet, right? Yikes, would recovery take longer? Quote

HUD Posted April 4 Report Posted April 4 Her high school surgery was to both feet as well. Hope this finally takes care of the problem. Quote
Cazzie22 Posted April 4 Report Posted April 4 Wish her well. More important than she can live a long and healthy life rather than be able to play basketball. It’s remarkable she was able to perform at such a high level. HB and Red Don 2 Quote
caveman Posted April 5 Report Posted April 5 Speaking from personal experience in foot surgeries recovery times are usually pretty quick but unearthly painful Cazzie22 1 Quote
whoopdeedoo Posted April 7 Report Posted April 7 just curious because i never noticed this............did anyone notice Nissley in any kind of pain, or, limping at some point? i wonder if the pain would occur after the games? i have watched reruns a number of times (especially the BigTen Tourney, so enjoyable) just never seem to see her struggle. praying the surgery on her feet help her. May have been getting shots in her feet. Having arthritis in my feet, I have gotten shots in my feet. Then I'm pretty much pain free for a year. Quote

HUD Posted April 8 Report Posted April 8 YES. It was previously mentioned in a press article that stress fractures was the cause for her surgery in high school. whoopdeedoo 1 Quote
