I rarely get to listen to Kent/Jake along with the game due to kids bedtimes, but that is my preferred way to watch.  I was allowed to against Minny, since it was a 5:30 tip, and will do the same on Thursday.  More times than not, I have to pause the game, keep my phone across the house, and catch up to the live action after putting the kids to bed.

But, what I absolutely love, when I can't listen to the radio with the TV, is to replay the audio on the way to work (or at work).  Kent and Jake get me freaking jacked and allow me to experience our wins again.  During games that I can't listen to the radio, something great will happen and I'll say to myself, "I can't wait to hear how Kent reacted to that one!"

Your kids’ bedtime routine and trying to ignore the game until you can actually pay attention sounds shockingly similar to mine.

Kent getting choked up at the end of the Purdue game when recounting the ‘82 Mizzou upset was absolutely priceless & why he’s the BEST…!!!

No knock against Kent but I haven't listened to a radio broadcast of a game in years since all the games are on TV.  The only time I listen to him is during my drive to PBA for pregame show and on my way home for post game show.  With that being said, Kent is very good at what he does.
