Jeff and Matt talked about how Mich St. has such a high NET. Jeff said it has to do with margine of victory, Jeff also said that MIch St. has won all of thier games by 40 or more pts. HUD Posted December 11, 2023 Report Posted December 11, 2023 One thing that a lot of people forget about is that our net is affected by not only what we do going forward but also what the teams we have played do going forward. What may look like a good win earlier in the season can lose some of its luster if that team struggles some later. Also the reverse can be true where a win looks better over time. There is a lot to it and pretty soon we will be evaluating quadrant 1,2,3and 4 wins and losses. Doesn't mean a lot until we get to seasons end but still fun to watch. whoopdeedoo 1 Quote

AuroranHusker Posted January 29 Report Posted January 29 Interesting that CU is only two spots ahead of NU, and their record is 16-3 while ours is 13-7. I don't usually follow NET until the last two to three weeks of the regular season, because I find it more interesting to talk rankings when they're 'in' the tournament, generally speaking.
