Lexi Rodriquez has been named the National Freshman of the Year to go along with First Team All-American and Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year. It is interesting that she was not named the Big Ten Freshman of the Year as Julia Orzol of Wisconsin garnered that honor.

Great effort from both teams.   The most improvement I have ever seen in-season.  Just a masterpiece by Cook.  Would have loved to see Hames get a natty while she was here, but they accomplished great things.  Much to be proud of.

This match will be talked about for many years to come. Unfortunate we're not on the "right" side of the outcome but what a match.

Honestly wasn't expecting a win (regardless of Wisconsin or Louisville), and thrilled we made it to the championship match, but we set the tone early and gave ourselves a fighting chance!

That would mean you don’t call baseball “major”.  I do think it’s a major men’s sport.  And it’s easy to be proud of the way they go about their business, not to mention the success of winning conference titles.

It was vague, but meant more "top revenue generating sports". Agree that there's a lot to be proud about with the baseball team under Bolt.

I believe I heard someone say on HSN (Baylor maybe) that almost everyone, including Hames, is eligible to come back next year if they wish.  As I understand it Lauren Stivrins is the only one ineligible to return.

Correct on eligible, but I don’t expect any of them to return.  But we have a lot of talent coming in.  Need to find a middle or 2, and  Kennedi Orr needs to be the real deal.

great run and perfect peak. badgers the best team regardless, and husker punched pound for pound.

everyone but lauren could be back next year (stivrins used covid year this year).

nice future ahead for this program.
