While I can appreciate what Bluder has done as a coach, I think it is more you like her or you don't as a coach. Same goes for Clark and Czinano. Very good players at this level but think they can come off as not very humble IMO.

can't remember when Clark gave her little "talk" on why she chose iowa...i was very, very impressed with what she said. however, her actions on the court have made it very difficult to cheer for her. i found that rather disappointing. then, there is bluder...............enough said.

So was watching the Iowa and Perdue last night. Interesting how much traveling does not get called anymore. Plenty of times where they drag their pivot foot, the official is right there watching the play and nothing. We really need to get the game cleaned up.

Seems like officiating, in general, is poor, in Both Men's and Women's.  👩‍🦯

There are going to be questionable calls. and some egregiously bad calls. it's part of the game. many times we, as viewers, simply have a better view of the action than do the officials standing right next to it. I think that we see things that the officials, being so close, can't see.  In the Indiana game, AM was called for traveling when right under the basket trying to get the ball high over her shoulders.  One 6-3 player being guarded by another with the ball and both players' hands over seven feet above their feet and the ref standing 8 feet away .... how can the ref possibly look for hand to arm contact, body to body contact, and traveling all at the same time?     If anyone wonders about the difference in views, go spend a few minutes watching from the first row and see if you appreciate the action as well as you do from first level in the B section

Not sure how many of you watch other B1G games but every time Michigan is on they always bring up Leigha Brown having left Nebraska for Michigan. That KBA knew Leigha was a 3 level scorer but was surprised how good she was in other facets. She is playing the point this year and doing quite well with it. She has had three games with 10 or more assists this year. I know a few do not like her on court style but I wouldn't mind seeing some of our current players play with more of an attitude. None of them should feel good about the product on the court.

I have a problem with her on court style when she flinging f bombs at the Nebraska fans behind the Michigan bench when they played here earlier. Leigha Brown or Caitlen Clark. Who wins t h e award for most disliked player in the Big 10.  I know they are both good but they do n o t have to act the way they do.

Seen Geno was complaining about the officials to Holly Rowe on ESPN. Doubt he will get much more than a call from the conference reminding him coaches do not complain about calls. IMHO we need more of this.

"How do I address it? How do I address it? You don't address it," Auriemma said. "This is what you get when you come down here. The game was called one way, then it changed. Nothing else changed. We didn't change. Nothing else changed."

This also happens when conferences have schools that want to see get high seeds in the NCAA tourney and make a deep run.

As we all know it happens right here in the B1G.  The home team can seem like  they have one set of officials, and we have another. And yet the B1G doesn't do anything. Not just one school, but several. Can't  recall which game right off hand, but we had like 27 fouls and they had 10   ...and they won.

Want to say it's just part of the game. But the stakes are too high  in big time 'in women's basketball.

Who makes the actual game assignments?  Who ratifies or approves or grades officials?  Can officials lose their certification if they are not doing their job correctly?  Can the officials be graded, regulated and assigned by an independent source rather than the league or NCAA?

Hey, refereeing is a tough job.  Yet like almost every job, the individual chooses the profession and are getting paid a salary and expenses for each gig.  If THEY don't like it, they can quit.  The question is, if they are not doing their job, can they be fired?  Fined?  Held accountable?

anyone else catch the Minny-Purdue game the other night? holy cow, how Rose Micheaux (sp?) from Minny didn't get at least one flagrant foul is beyond me!!! she was REALLY throwing the elbows around. there was one that was really bad and she didn't even get a foul called on her. didn't get reviewed either. don't get it. all on the refs that they didn't call them. smh

things are pretty rough in the BigTen. imo, so much so it's hurting the game.
