redsteve Posted March 6, 2020 Report Posted March 6, 2020 (edited) Red Don posted this elsewhere.... A lot of could's and maybe's but..... Nebraska will await word on a 2020 Postseason WNIT bid, which will be announced late in the evening on Monday, March 16. If the Huskers are invited to the tournament, they could open tournament play as early as Wednesday, March 18 and could be set to host in the first round of the 64-team field at Pinnacle Bank Arena. All About the Corn Posted March 11, 2020 Report Posted March 11, 2020 So with Lincoln/Lancaster asking the NSAA to close the Boys State championships to teams and their immediate family only if NE gets and invite will they even host? Play to an empty arena? Or start the tourney and if 1-3 teams have a player, coach, or support staff come down with the coronavirus does the tourney shut down completely? Quote

I’ve wondered about this as well. Will they even have the NIT tourneys this year? All About the Corn 1 Quote
All About the Corn Posted March 11, 2020 Report Posted March 11, 2020 I have seen where the NCAA is getting more pressure on them to cancel this years BB championships. A lot of money at stake, well on the men's side anyway. Quote
Cazzie22 Posted March 11, 2020 Report Posted March 11, 2020 I don’t envy NCAA and NSAA officials trying to determine who is immediate family. This is a sad situation. Quote
